About Beyond Bush Venison

Welcome to Beyond Bush Venison – a family-run business established in 2020, nestled in the stunning heart of the Waterberg Mountains in the small town of Vaalwater. Our certified health and safety facility, located right here in the Waterberg area, handles all meat processing. From here, we ensure our venison reaches the market and our retail shops every week.

In 2023, we made a big green leap by transitioning to solar power, with over 266 panels providing round-the-clock electricity. This upgrade keeps our coolers and freezers at a constant temperature, ensuring our venison products remain top-notch.

We believe in transparency: our cutting-edge track and trace online system, completed in June 2023, offers full traceability of our products. You can see everything from the date of game harvest to the specific farm and area it came from.

Our game is all locally sourced, and we select only the best venison through stringent quality control measures. Before freezing, every product goes through a metal detector system capable of identifying non-ferrous and ferrous metals as small as 5mm.

We pour our heart and soul into every product, and we are immensely proud of it.
