    Q1: How to cook meaty bones?

    The way to do that is to simmer the bones ever so gently over a long period, anywhere between 6 and 48 hours depending on the type of bone (i.e. larger bones like beef take longer). Don’t be turned off by the length of time, it’s all passive hands-off cooking time!

    Heat oven to 450°F. Arrange bones in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast bones for 45 minutes. When done they should be deep golden brown.

    • All prices are calculated on the actual weight per product on the date of collection/delivery.
    • Send through orders five days before delivery/collection
      Minimum order for delivery of 200kg
    • Subject to availability for out-of-season
    • Deliveries under 500kg will be delivered to certain meeting points and not to business /residential addresses. (for Pretoria meeting point is at Zambezi – Builder Warehouse parking lot)
